I was surprised when they charged a flat fee of HKD 2 for the tram ride. As of now we have not planned any Bloggers' Meet other than the first one. However, will keep u posted on the developments.

Hey Kaps:

I know exactly what you mean. I could not believe that it could be so cheap with the MTR charging you at least 8 HKD per ride (max 26 HKD) and bus rides costing upwards of HKD 10.

The best time to take the wooden trams is on Sunday evenings when it is completely deserted. The sunsets at the west end of Hong Kong Island are very very pretty.

MTR charge of HKD 8 is only when the MTR crosses the underground tunnel. If u travel along HK island the fares are cheaper. Are u permanently based in HK?

Hey Kaps:

No I am not permanently based in HK. I am just here for a couple of months on a project. Been fun so far.
